Re: Virtual Machine Manager service terminates
I have the same problem. Anyone found a solution to get the VMM to work again?

Re: Virtual Machine Manager service terminates
I have managed to make it work again, but I have to do this every time the server restarts.
The problem is that VMM requires the ports 1124, 1125 and 1126 exclusively.
Run from a Command Prompt: netstat ├в n ├в a ├в o > netstat.txt
Check in that text file for what PID(s) the processes that are using the ports.
Check in task manager for what processes those PIDs belongs to.
Backtrack those processes to the respective services and stop them (usually ├в Altiris eXpress Server├в and/or ├в HP Systems Insight Manager├в ).
Start the HP Virtual Machine Management Service service.
Restart the services you stopped before.
Wait a couple of minutes before you login into HP SIM.
Login into HP SIM
Select all your Virtual Machine Hosts that you have previously deployed VMM agents to.
Register those hosts from Configure/Virtual Machine Management Pack/Register Virtual Machine Host├в ┬ж
Now it should work.
Hopefully this workaround wil

Re: Virtual Machine Manager service terminates
Hi. I am reading your post...but for some reason the parameters for the netstat command do not show. Could you please re-type them?
