9000/879/K260: AUTOBOOT FAILS
Hello,
I have posted a message on the 9000 forum with the title
"SOS: Autoboot Fails". Later, I realised that this forum (hp-ux) is more active than the 9000 one. So, please give your valuable inputs on my message there.
thank you,
bala

You have had many responses in the 9000 server forum, I would recommend you go there and readt them
My house is the bank's, my money the wife's, But my opinions belong to me, not HP!

Re: 9000/879/K260: AUTOBOOT FAILS
I am including a thread at the bottom for you for future. The error code AOBD states that initialization failed with an error -8. These types of HPMC errors are indicative of hardware failure. Your disk may (or may not) have failed. The fact that you can't get to that point, tends to lean toward your core controller or processor problems (or both).
There are some guidelines for getting any HPMC pim information you may want to try...but in either case
YOU NEED TO CALL HP HARDWARE SUPPORT 1-800-633-3600.
Hope this helps,
/rcw
