Re: Does Ignite run on intel servers?
Ignite is an HPUX product that only runs on HPUX.

Re: Does Ignite run on intel servers?
Ignite is only meant for HP-Unix. It will run on PA-RISC not ITANIUM servers not on intel based servers.

Re: Does Ignite run on intel servers?
Yes. Ignite will run on any chipset that supports HPUX. Which is limited to PA-RISC and IPF ( Itanium Product Family )

Re: Does Ignite run on intel servers?
for both question see HP-UX support matrix - http://h20338.www2.hp.com/hpux11i/downloads/public_hp-ux_systems_support.pdf
On blade, when you can run HP-UX - you can install Ignite as well.
regards,
ivan

Re: Does Ignite run on intel servers?
How hard is this to get right?
Ignite runs on HP-UX, period. (That's all you need to say.)
HP-UX runs on PA-RISC and Integrity servers.
It will not run on Intel or AMD x86 chips.
