How recovery ignite tape and restore full backup in fresh system
Hi
iwant to now How recovery ignite tape when system is booting (without any OS) and restore full backup in fresh system.
my server is rp34110
please help me

So, if you are booting to an Ignite recovery tape that was build from the same system, the process is as easy as it gets (assuming the tape was created with the entire root VG).
- interrupt the boot process to get to the BCH Main Menu.
- If you dont know the tape drive device path, search for your tape drive with the SEA command.
- Boot to that device and just let it go. The tape will boot and will autmatically restore without any interaction.
Now, of course your data will only be as up to date as from when the tape was created, so you may have more work to do.
