IGNITE Remote, DUAL BOOTED Client??

Is it possible to Ignite remote client which is dual booted?
I would like to be able to ignite either client drive and leave both client drives in a clean bootable state.

Is this possible??

Hi Mike

I would be inclined to make two images of the machine - one for each boot state.

Just an idea

Re: IGNITE Remote, DUAL BOOTED Client??

Thanks Paula, I appreciate your input!

I will build the images from a master system, and then they will be pushed out to multiple factory systems. My question relates to the **bootable condition** of both drives on remote clients. Do I have to physicaly visit each ignite target to execute a bootsys_prep -u to clean the INSTALL and INSTALLFS files off the system **after the completion of the Ignite (executed from server)** I would like to it all from server, but it looks like that probably wont fly. But i'm in the dark! 8---)

Hello Mike,
those are just simple files in "/stand" - so you can
easily remove them with "ftp" or "remsh"...
And for the boot device, well check out "setboot"!
