/boot/WINSTALL: cannot open, or not executable

Hello all,

My configuration: PA-RISC server to be reinstalled from an ignite golden image, IA boot helper on the same subnet and a PA-RISC ignite server on a remote subnet. In the main menu, I issue bo lan.172.16.130.210 install where 172.16.130.210 is the IP of the boot helper. This is what I get:

Main Menu: Enter command or menu > bo lan.172.16.130.210 install

  BCH Directed LAN Path: 5/0/0/1/0.172.16.130.210

Do you wish to stop at the ISL prompt prior to booting? (y/n) >> n

Initializing boot Device.

Boot
: lan(5/0/0/1/0;0)/boot/WINSTALL
lan(5/0/0/1/0;0)/boot/WINSTALL: cannot open, or not executable
Exec failed: No such file or directory

anyone has any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks. I will be watching for replies to provide any additional info if needed.

I assume you have set up the boot helper as per the instructions on page 26 of the following manual -- http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c03685781/c03685781.pdf

Re: /boot/WINSTALL: cannot open, or not executable

Thanks, but in the meantime I managed to resolve the issue. All that needed to be done was to copy the /opt/ignite/boot directory with its contents from the ignite server over to the boot helper server.
