How to create two logical drives from same RAID 1+0

Hi,

I have rx2800i4 server and 2 x 300GB  internal HDDs.As usual ,  when i create RAID 1+0 in EFI, I can only get one logical drive which is 300GB.But i would like to create two logical drives which are 100GB and 200GB from RAID 1+0  as i would like to create two VG00 and VG01. Please advise if any commands or ways to do it. Thanks.

Re: How to create two logical drives from same RAID 1+0

This is complicated. You can do this, but you need an OS running. During installation of the OS you can only create a single logical drive on the disk. You turn in circles ...

However, IMHO it is not a good idea to have VG00 and VG01 on the same disk anyway.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
