Integrity server with MS Windows 2008 R2 VMs
Hi,
I need to configure an HP BL870i2 server with Microsoft Windows Integrity VMs. The server is not connected to a SAN.
I believe each Microsoft Windows VM requires its own physical disk. Can I use an HP-UX disk partition as I assume that the HP-UX hypervisor will need to see the drive, or can I use the internal SMART array P410i to create logical partitions?
The system has 4 by 600GB 10k drives, across the 2 p410i RAID controllers
Is it best to create 2 by RAID 1 logical drives and partition within HP-UX, or create lots of different size logical partitions with the p410i?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Andrew
