Itanium servers and S - series difference .

Hi All,

I need to know the difference between the itanium server and S-series server.

I need to give a presentation. ASAP.

If anyone have document on this kindly share with me .

Well, Ashwin, this depends on what it needs to discuss. Itanium servers have a different architecture (blades, multicore, and NSAA dual and triple modular technology), where the S-series has 2 processors running in lockstep , running the MIPS chopset.

I suggest you browse the Tech documentation -- look for migration guide. Also, the www.hp.com/go/nonstop stie should contain pointers.

I hope  that is enough for you to prepare a presentation.
