Re: Linux Kernel Panic

Hi

On x86 platforms there's a utility called
LKCD ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/lkcd )

I don't know if it's been migrated
to Itanium architecture, but i think it will be early.

What you think about netdump ?

Re: Linux Kernel Panic

Hi

Until now, i don't know anything about that tool ( netdump ). It seems interesting to me, although some of the arguments about PC firmware ( http://www.redhat.com/support/wpapers/redhat/netdump/ ) and the inability to make disk dumps, don't make much sense for EFI and Itanium firmware, and for today memory and disks sizes on servers.

Re: Linux Kernel Panic

Did you enable the verbose mode of klogd - kernel log daemon- in /etc/sysconfig/syslog
?

It gives further infos.
Peace, R.

Re: Linux Kernel Panic

When I start Off line diag there is messg that show some problem with USB.
I remove all USB device (kbd, mouse) and server working for now. How long ? I don't know :(

This isn't a decision but workaround.

Re: Linux Kernel Panic

I'll put your picture on my desktop! IT's amazing.

Can't you upgrade your kernel? did you search on
www.redhat.com/errata ?

Peace, R.
