RX2800 console through MP and VGA
RX2800 i2 with OpenVMS
From my understanding, the console can be either the MP or VGA, but not both. Is this understanding correct?
My concern is this:
After changing the primary console to the MP, VGA console output stops when the OS is booted. So during boot, until the vms login window appears, it just sits there like it is frozen.

Re: RX2800 console through MP and VGA
But with the MP as console you can watch the boot process from ILO/MP and it is recorded in the console log.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
