By default, 802.1Q VLAN support is enabled for eight VLANS. You can configure
up to 64 VLANs on the switch. (with the command max-vlan)
You have to keep in mind that this is a LAYER 2 switch only. So this switch will not be able to route traffic between the VLANs even if you configure IP addresses in every VLAN. You will need a layer 3 switch or router, if you want to have routing.
