Hi Team,
I am facing one issue. I need to identify MSA LUNS presented in HP-UX 11.23 host. There is no evainfo like tools available for MSA. Also hpux 11.23 is not having any scsimgr command options like 11.31.
Storage team has given wwn for the LUNS.
Now the issue is for the below LUN, how I can co-relate it with wwn or any other id's in MSA storage.
disk 24 0/3/0/0/0/1.1.20.0.0.1.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE HP MSA 2040 SAN
/dev/dsk/c17t1d0 /dev/rdsk/c17t1d0
# diskinfo /dev/rdsk/c17t1d0
SCSI describe of /dev/rdsk/c17t1d0:
vendor: HP
product id: MSA 2040 SAN
type: direct access
size: 54685696 Kbytes
bytes per sector: 512

SolutionThe H/W path is the key.
In your case
0/3/0/0/0/1.1.20.0.0.1.0
indicates LUN 8.
There are many threads about this, example:
Hope this helps!

Torsten.
