Dear all;
Kindly be informed that when I tried to perform the full backup on the HP RPserver I had face some sever problem related to Hard ware issue on the standby Hard desk it may be failure and need to be replaced ASAP by a new hard ware for the failure hard desk.
My conclusion for the hard ware failure is depend on the following trace and logs:
- The output of the command vgdisplay show that the hard desks are stale and not synchronized due some problem on the standby hard desk
- The output of the sys log show some error on the standby hard desk.
- Also the ignite trace are full of error for the Hard desk.
- Also the Full backup trace contain some error for the hard Desks.
- The manuall synchronization for the logical volume are fail.
All the required traces and logs are attached. waiting your Feedback ASAP...

Re: Logical Volume Problem
I agree that it appears that you have a bad disk.
Other than that, I don't see a question anywhere in your post.
