Just a quick mirroring question.
When mirroring your lvols is it necessary that they be mirrored in the exact order in which they appear in ,for example, an lvdisplay?
Thanks,
Andy

Re: MIRRORING LVOLS
On vg00, the first 3 lvols (/stand, swap and /) must be on the same physical disk and contiguous (no interleave). If this is not followed, the mirror will not boot successfully. The rest of the lvols can be interleaved like a deck of cards anywhere you want...but I don't recommend it as it will be a nightmare to manage. It's best to match up mirrors with identical disks on a separate controller.
