Hi
I am getting the following error whiel try to extend the lvol
root@saphost1:/ : lvextend -L 2107392M /dev/vgsapIF0/lvsapdata1IF0
Not allowed to create logical volumes larger than 2TB.
Install the "16TB LV and Striped Mirror feature enabling patch",
to enable this feature.
root@saphost1:/ :
Current size of the filesystem is 2TB . and I am using 11.23 version

SolutionYou need to install PHCO_37939
This patch handles that issue. I know its not intuitive but it should be done.

What exacly this patch stands for .. I am not able to find the download link .
this new itrc is bit difficult to search

the link for the "support center" (the itrc replacement) is:

however, to get a patch (or doing anything else of substance) you need a login....and to get a login you need a support contract.

The "PHCO" prefix stands for a COmmand patch. You need to be logged into the HPSC *and* have a valid support contract to download patches.
Go to the HPSC home page:
Then, *login* [ you may have to do this again to see the link to the Patch Database ]; and click
"Patch Management" on the left near the top of the listed items.

go to the below link and search for your patch...I not much different ..we just need to get used to the new UI :)
