VG import hpux 11.31 to hpux 11.23


Hi Friends ,
I have cluster VG in hp ux 11.31 , version 2 , and i need to Mount this BCV to in hpux 11.23 , let me know the steps

might not work since you have a newer version of LVM on 11.31 and have a newer version of the JFS filesystem on it.

When you create the volume group and file system you need to be very careful when creating them if you need them to be used on older versions of HPUX.

The normal vgimport commands should work if the LVM structures and FS structures are comptible.

LVM version 2.x works with hp-ux 11.31 only.
