mirrored system (vg00) needs hw-replacement.
When trying to reduce the mirror one lvol still fails:
root@kong[/usr/local/sbin]# lvreduce -m 0 /dev/vg00/lvol7 /dev/dsk/c0t6d0
lvreduce: Couldn't reduce the logical volume:
Device busy
lvreduce: The LVM device driver failed to reduce mirrors on
the logical volume "/dev/vg00/lvol7".
root@kong[/usr/local/sbin]#
HOW can I force the system to do that before I replace the harddisk?
Thanks for your help!

Re: lvreduce with error when trying to reduce mirror
Problem is, while changing the configuration (lvreduce) the system wants to write this to all disks. Witch a "almost dead" disk you may see such problems as you did. pvchange will avoid this.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
