Hi Guys,
Can anyone advice, I have a rx2660 install with hpux 11iv3 configure with internal disk of 2 x raid 1 with 2 volume broup vg00 and vg01 created . inside the rx2660 I have a fibre card which is connected to a san storage . Can I know how to add this existing san stoarge and mount it on the rx2660 . Kindly advice??

It will depend on the SAN storage.
From the server side just scan for presented LUNs and create a new VG with LVOLs on it.

There is existing data on the storage , I need to mount it to the new server. Can I have the steps to do it ??

You say there is data on the LUNs that you want to save. Were these LUNS ever mounted to an HP-UX server in the past? If so, were they a part of a Volume Group?
From the server side, use the 'ioscan -fnN' command and look for the new LUNS. if you need to create device files, use the 'insf -H' command as appropriate.
Use those device files and look into using the 'vgimport' command.

Hi Vincet,
You can Post a query in HPUX Forum also. I understand, if you have data in the disk amd an you want to migrate it , need to do some vgexport/vgimport stuff.
