unable to read physical volume Hp-ux EVA
Hello,
i have a problem in my storage EVA.
i created a LUN on my EVA.
it seems that the physical volume has a problem but until now i didn't know why? and how can we resolve? .
the physical volume is a LUN created on 5000 EVA and presented to rp 4400 server. from ioscan command i can see two paths to this Vdisk.(it is normal situation)
but when i try the commands i received the message"unable to read the physical volume"
my steps is as follows: -pvcreate /dev/disk/disk14 -mkdir /dev/vg01 -mknod /dev/vg01/group c 64 0x020000 -vgcreate /dev/vg01 /dev/disk/disk14 ----> error:unable to read the physical volume
any help please?

Re: unable to read physical volume Hp-ux EVA
Check the LUN on the disk array and make sure you have it set appropriately for your OS version (it should probably be set to HP-UX mode and NOT Windows on the EVA).
