Creating X-Window with shell script

Hello,
I?m using some scripts that I need to insert some data information before they run. Until now I pass the variables using text command and window.
I?d like to use a kind of dialog screen where it?s possible the insert the data in fields and clik in a button to run the script.
Somebody has an idea how to do this Windows using shell script ?
Tks,
Ricardo

Re: Creating X-Window with shell script

I know that this sort of thing is possible using dtksh (part od CDE) but I have not tried this.

What about using Perl and the myriad of GUI add on modules or perhaps TCL/TK? This is fairly trivial using either one of these utilities.
