So how you can explain that we were able to download the trial version of the compiler on the following link

And install it on our OS HP-UX 11.23i ?

From now, it works fine.

We just need to have a 26 digit hexadecimal license in order to unlock the soft.

Could you please help on this, if you can  ? 

We didn't make something illegal as we have bought the licence to use the compiler, even if we cannot have the final version.

I contacted the support, and they ask me to pay again for this intervention ...

I don't know what to do.

Only because you forced it with "-x allow_incompatible=true".

Basically all sales of new products on 11.23 stopped a few years ago.

And you have explained to Support you need to purchase a 11.23 version of aC++?  How much are they asking you to pay?

Have you talked to the vendor and asked if they still have a 11.23 versions?

yes, i had, and i explained clearly that we have 11.23 version of HP-UX

What web site did you use to purchase the compiler?  Did you use this one?

What did you get when you purchased it?

This is not how the above URL works.  You must do a electronic download.

As we are a big company we are not able to purchase something online.

We need to go through a vendor which is allow by the company.

I asked the vendor that we need a compiler: Compiler Version A.06.26 Base Release for HP C/aC++ for HP-UX 11.2i

Then, the story begun since March....

What did the vendor provide you?

If they are just reselling the compiler on the URL I provided, they also have to provide the electronic download of the bits.

That compiler won't be on the application media.

This would be the 26 hex digits codeword.

i asked for the compiler and they provided me the media (photo in attach)

I don't have any Codeworld for the application, but only Codeworld to unlock the media.

When i unlocked it, i didn't see the compiler inside

What swlist/swinstall commands did you use?

Hi Dennis,

We followed these steps

to /cdrom, with « swlist –s /cdrom »

declare the CodeWord for the DVD,

Mount the DVD under /cdrom et launch « swinstall –s /cdrom », then :

Action\Add New CodeWord
