HP-UX 10.20 : JDK 1.1.8 -> JDK 1.2

Hi all
Is it possible to install (update) JDK 1.2 or higher on HP-UX 10.20?
Must some patches be preinstalled first?

Hi Eric,

If I remember well, HP-UX 11.0 is a prerequisite for JDK 1.2 (or 1.3, of course).

So if I understand well there is no way for me to get Java 1.2 on my poor HP-UX 10.20 ?

Hi Eric,

To answer your question: I'm afraid you won't be able to install JDK 1.2 unless you upgrade to HP-UX 11.0.

Maybe a good reason to upgrade if you definitely need the latest Java SDK?
