HP wdb 6.4 and the GNU C and C++ compiler

From HP wdb 6.4 documentation  (http://h21007.www2.hp.com/portal/download/files/unprot/wdb/wdb_6.4/GDB.pdf, page 11)

"HP WDB can be used to debug code generated by the HP ANSI C, HP ANSI aC++ and HP Fortran compilers as well as the GNU C and C++ compilers."

From HP wdb home page http://www.hp.com/go/gdb, HP WDB 6.4 features:

"HP WDB no longer supports debugging of C/C++ programs compiled with GNU compilers"

To me these two statements contradict each other. I would like to install HP wdb 6.4 but will it debug code generated by g++? I would llike to clarify this point.

Re: HP wdb 6.4 and the GNU C and C++ compiler

Sorry for the confusion; seems like a documentation error on our part.

Just to clarify, HP wdb does not support debugging of binaries generated using gcc/g++.
