How to send zip file as the attachment in OpenVMS?

Hi All,

I followed this article http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/General/send-a-file-as-attachment-in-OpenVMS-mail/m-p/4060128#M13229 and the command:

$ MAIL/Foreign/SUBJECT="Test Attachment." AAA.ZIP "@AGENCIES.DIS",

Also tried this:

$ MAIL/SUBJECT="Test Attachment."/FOR/TYPE=1 AAA.ZIP "@AGENCIES.DIS",

the problem is:

the email can be received, but the zip file, just shown on the email body as messy code, how to fix it?

We have had excellent luck with a DCL procedure called 'sendmail' by Jerry Alan Braga.  As long as you are using HP TCPIP Services it will work as is; other stacks will require some tweaks.
