Hi,
we downloaded the new package "HP C/aC++ Developer's Bundle for Evaluation" (B9007AAEVAL) this week from the software depot.
As us were told there is no license file needed but when we try to use it we get the error
"Internal Error: Codeword file /opt/ansic/newconfig/ansic.cwd missing or empty."
which points at a missing license file ...
I saw in an older threats from 30.12.2005 that at least for the old eval version a license file was needed.
Has anybody experiences with this new package if there is a license file needed or not ?
thx
Kai

Solution
Kai,
after you filled out the details form on the web, the receipt page has a 'license to use' PDF file.
I think you can go to licensing.hp.com with the order number and license number and should get your 60 day license key.

Re: Internal Error: Codeword file /opt/ansic/newconfig/ansic.cwd missing or empty.
that was the solution - thanks for the prompt response ;-)
Meanwhile I also received some additional info from licensing.hp.com:
"In order to use these evaluation compilers, the customer must also obtain and install an evaluation license, which is good for 60 days from the
date the license was generated. This license may be obtained from licensing.hp.com (for EMEA, please send request with entitlement certificate containing the HP License Number to: codeword_europe@hp.com).
You will receive a PDF file which is your license. It has a section named 60 Days Evaluation License Key Code which has a license key of 26 hexadecimal digits.
To enable the evaluation compiler, you need to create two plain text (ASCII) file containing only that 26 digit hexadecimal license key,
in the following default locations:
Ansi C compiler: /opt/ansic/newconfig/ansic.cwd
aC++ compiler: /opt/aCC/newconfig/aCC.cwd
You can also use an environment variable to control codeword
file location, ST_CODEWORD"
