There's a whitepaper on MPAS on this site:

Search with the key word "MPAS" and you will immediately see it.

This isn't your problem.
I assume if you know how to set up MPAS you must know why you use it. I.e. you want to use 4 Gb in 32 bits, without dealing with single 1 Gb quadrant boundaries.
