how do i install informix 4GL Compiler Development 7.50

can i know how to install informix 4GL Compiler Development 7.50 FC1 on my HPUX 11.11.while i am trying to install its throwing an error "INFORMIXDIR is not set".
How do i resolve it? Is there prerequisite in order to install this?

Hi:

Start by reading the installation documentaion!

The error "INFORMIXDIR is not set" suggests that you need to set and export a shell variable *before* you run the installation steps:

# export INFORMIXDIR=/path/to/somewhere
