/usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol

Hi there.

I'm still trying on installing gnome on hp-ux 10.20.
I copied some files in /opt/gnome_lib/share from /opt/gnome_core/share and when I start the gnome-session the menu and appletts seems to be founded.
But when gnome try to put the icons into the panel I get this error:
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved Symbol: png_create_read_struct (code) from
/opt/imlib/lib/libgdk_imlib.sl.
I just installed the last version of imlib available on hpux.connect.org.uk but nothing is changed.

Any hint?

Did you try adding /opt/imlib/lib/ to your SHLIB_PATH environment variable?

SHLIB_PATH added in my .profile.
nothing is changed

Not sure if you've done this also, but you have re-source your profile, i.e.:

. ./.profile

in order for the new variable to take affect.

Yes Santosh I make a new login every time I change something on my .profile.
