3com 4200G 48 port switch software update error after switch reboot
Hello. I have never updated our 3com 4200G switch software from factory default. I updated it today to s3v02_02_04 (the latest I could find).
After getting the message the update was successful I rebooted in order to boot to the new software. When I login I get this error:
"There is no file flash:/s3v02_00.web on the Flash.
Or the file does not match the software running on the device.
The released package is s3v02_05.web."
After I click OK everything seems to work fine.
First off - How do I get rid of that error message? It doesn't seem to cause functionality issues, but could become annoying over time.
Second - The software version I downloaded and installed was s3v02_04.web
But the error indicates s3v02_05.web. Anything to be concerned about there?

Re: 3com 4200G 48 port switch software update error after switch reboot
Fixed my own issue with manual TFTP updates and command line.
