Re: Flash: Is load runner supports flash application performance testing

Hi,
I was trying to record and replay a flash-player scenario. The user has to do an e-learning in flash-player. I have tried this with Ajax truClient in both Vugen 11.0 and 11.5, but was not successful. As suggested I will try Flex and AMF protocols.
Have you ever tried replaying the script with flash-player scenario? Does the video play in RunTime Viewer?
Thanks,
Mahender

Re: Flash: Is load runner supports flash application performance testing

Hello
In addition to Mario's comment, I would like to add that many flash actions behaves as a video, so there will be no communication, even if it has some interaction with the user, internally is still a video and it only sends a big submit with all the data, so if it doesn't record some steps, that doesn't mean it is not working, you need to pay attention to the actions and the code generated in order to understand if something was expected or not, the fact that you do action while recording doesn't mean you ail get code for each action, this is specially important to consider when dealing with flash object.
