Issue when Recording with IE8.

Hi,

 

I'm kind of a beginner to LoadRunner. I have a Web application developed in ASP.NET which I'm working on Performance Testing. I'm using VuGen 9.5 version.

 

The problem is when I record the web application in Web(HTTP & HTML) with the IE 8 browser, the recording is stopped even before the page is fully loaded and not moving forward from that. When I checked the Recording Log, it shows the message like  "Conncection Terminated from Server."

 

But when I tried to do the same with Firefox browser, the application is getting recorded without any issue. Please help me in finding why the issue is raised.

The problem is simple, 9.5 version does not support IE8, you need IE7 or upgrade LoadRunner to 11.5, I recommend you to take alook on the readme or userguide, using a product as old as 9.5 you will find many limitations like this one.

You will need to upgarede to LR 9.52 and install a patch to support IE 8 recording on top of 9.52.

 

9.5X by default supports only IE 6 & 7.

Thank You all for your replies. I had now uninstalled the IE 9 update and started working with IE8.
