Correlation - ***URGENT **** help required

Hello all,

     I am trying to correlate the value "525E3648504C0C50E10080000A3EFDA0" from the below text,

OBJECT_GUID\x253d525E3648504C0C50E10080000A3EFDA0\x2526PORTFOLIO_GUID

Try1:
web_reg_save_para("Test", "LB=OBJECT_GUID\x253d",RB=\x2526PORTFOLIO_GUID",LAST);
result :
No Match found.

Try2:
web_reg_save_para("Test", "LB=OBJECT_GUID",RB=PORTFOLIO_GUID ",LAST);
result:
\x253d525E3648504C0C50E10080000A3EFDA0\x2526

So, i feel the escape caharacter "\" is skipping the remaining boundaries, results in no match.

Is the a way to handle the escape character in correlation function.
Much appreciate your help!!!
Thanks,
Nan Raso

Re: Correlation - ***URGENT **** help required

Hi Nan_Raso,

What if we keep another escape character \ before the existing blakslash in the right boundary?

In the recording options -> enable correlation for recording -> create a new rule -> keep the current left and right boundary's test them and see whether you are able to extract the required data from the response.

Srihari

hi
yes, you need to duplicate the \ so vugen understand this is actually part of the boundary.

Re: Correlation - ***URGENT **** help required

By adding escape sequences it should capture the value.

web_reg_save_para("Test", "LB=OBJECT_GUID\\x253d",RB=\\x2526PORTFOLIO_GUID",LAST);

Thanks, Ajay
