Launching javaw and not javac

Hi there.

I am trying to get loadrunner to invoke a javaw when creating a jvm, however loadrunner invokes javac.

Is there a way to launch javaw instead of javac?

My applicatoin is passing parameters to a javaw which is not understood by javac.

Thanks

Re: Launching javaw and not javac

Hi,

Let's clarify that the javac.exe is a compiler that intended to generate bite code (.class files).

So LoadRunner doesn't use javac to invoke jvm (neither during recording nor during replaying). javac only used within building process.

Best regards.

Ok.

My application is starting a javaw in a cmd file:

start javaw -arguments -arguments

How would i create a vm using loadrunner with these arguments? or can i use javaw in loadrunner?

Thanks

Ok.

What do you mean "create vm using LoadRunner"? If you want to record Java protocol script (suppose you need Java Record Replay protocol) you can use one of the options offered by Recording dialogue.

I guess "Executable/batch" should be most appropriate for you.

You can write batch (.bat) file that will invoke java vm using command line you need.
