Loadrunner VUgen recording issue

Hi All,


Am new to this forum. While recording, the events counter keeps increasing, but the generated script is empty. Am using below softwares to record script.


1. Loadrunner 9.10.

2. Google Chrome.

3. Using HTTP/HTML protocal


But when ever I use IE to record am able to getting successfull script generation. Please help me on this.

Improvement of the recording process using Chrome were added in the latest versions of LoadRunner.

Please review the following knowledge documents:





LoadRunner 9.1 is an old version which is currently out of support.  You can consider upgrading to a new version of LoadRunner. Currently supported visions of LoadRunner are 11.x and 11.5x. Please note that there is a new licensing mechanism in LoadRunner 11.5x and if you decide to upgrade your licenses will need to be reissued.


In LoadRunner 9.1 your option is to use the default recording browser which is Internet Explorer.

Thanks for your prompt reply. For upgrading 9.10 to 11.5X will take some time.


Past few months we were using chrome only for recording with loadrunner 9.10. But suddenly from (18/12/2104) few days back chrome had stopped recording. We didn't get root cause for this.


Request you to provide solution for these.
