3CRWDR100A-72 - Connect 2 lan using WDS
Hi all,
i'm trying to connect 2 lans (192.168.1.0/24 and 192.168.2.0/32) using WDS:
192.168.1.0/24 is my lan
192.168.2.0/24 is my neighborhood lan
In both locations, I have a 3Com 3CRWDR100A-72 with same firmware (2.06T13, last one available on 3com site).
I have already tested WDS on same subnet and worked fine but now i need to separate the 2 lans and use WDS to make my neighborhood able to access internet using my adsl.
First of all, is it possible to do what I'm asking? If it's possible, what should I do?
Best regards

Re: 3CRWDR100A-72 - Connect 2 lan using WDS
WDS only extends a subnet. You cannot have two different subnets on the same WDS LAN. If you want to have a separate subnet, you will have to have a separate router for .1.x which then bridges to the two routers, both on .2.x
