765zl and moving client traffice onto certain VLANs
Hi all,
Trying to replace an old Wireless Services Module with a new MSM765zl.
Im not interested in special Internet access at moment. Just want to create 3 SSID that each use a different VLAN so that they obtain different IP subnet address from DHCP server on the LAN.
e.g. Vlan 34 = 192.168.34.x
Vlan 35 = 192.168.35.x.... and so on
VLANs and IP-Helper address are all correctly configured on the 5412zl core switch (where MSM and old Wireless services modules reside) and this switch is also the router.
DHCP server (172.16.0.2) Vlan 100
Core Switch (192.16.111.200) Vlan 1 (unrouted)
MSM765 (192.16.111.160) Vlan 1
At this stage simply what a client to connect to SSID34, have its traffic moved to VLAN34 so that DHCP can issue it with 34.x address. How do the LAN / Internet Ports need tagging.... and is the DHCP relay needed (although this only works on Internet Port, which I am assumming would not be used?)

Re: 765zl and moving client traffice onto certain VLANs
hi
not need internet port... internet port only default vsc internet connection for guest or default vsc user.
you must have lan port
*lan port must have untag default vlan and tag all other vlan
*all access points port (on the switch)must have untag default vlan and tag all other vlan
*on controller enable dhcp for access point registration on default vlan
*create 3 new vsc ,create 3 new vlan (on controller) and assign this 3vlan on this 3 diffrent vsc
*attach default group in vsc binding this 3 vlan
*create 3 vlan on switch and ip routing enable on sw
*make dhcp relay config (ip helper)on swithc and running dhcp server
