Re: Sendmail config in HPUX server

Hi Jeevanandham

Maybe your mail server is refusing connection by your client.

You have any more machine working with this mail server.

Check the mail server to see what happens to email by your client.

Re: Sendmail config in HPUX server

Add a line to your /etc/hosts file:
10.11.12.13 hp.com

Then the lookup works and it should work.
(Like I mentioned above)

Re: Sendmail config in HPUX server

Hi

I think the problem is not in the resolution of the names.

Because you resolve correct the name of your mail server.

So I think you need check the logs of your mail server and see what is happening.

From your mail server or from any other machine connect to your mail server ( relay host ) you can send mail to your address (username@domain.com) ??.

Regards.
