Can I take Individual Exams, rather than Credential

Presently I am working in HP Data Protector Technology. From HP
Certification list I found that HP0-918, HP0-919 and HP0-920
examinations are meant for HP Data Protector. But this all
certification comes under some accreditation like AIS etc.
If I don't want the accreditation, can I seat for only HP0-918,
HP0-919 and HP0-920 examinations or any one without having a prerequisite?
If I passed this examination like HP0-918, HP0-919 and HP0-920
examinations, then what sort of qualification I will achieve from
HPCP? like HP Certified etc....

Being certified, and having to deal wit hthe certification team...I can tell you that if you do not meet a pre-requisite, passing any one of these 3 exams will net you a white piece of paper with a test score.

It is not likely that you will get any certification. These tests don;t grant you a "base" cert similar to how Microsoft used to say... If you pass any exam, you are a MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional).

There may be some exceptions in your region, but i'd expect this to be the case no matter what.

Accreditation vs. Certification...

These are 2 different things. The "AIS", "ASE" and "MASE" titles are "Certifications" where as... "Accreditations" are usually vendor specific training courses/non-prometric exams that allow you (and your company) to sell/service a particualr subset of hardware/software. Some of these subsets require only simple accreditation where as others require sales and technical certifications.

Btw... you can take any exam you want. There are no pre-requisites to taking exams.

(or at least I have not seen any from HP).
