3Com 3C10401SPKRB VLAN Questions

I have a 3Com 3101 Basic Speaker Phoneset; does this phoneset support IEEE_802.1Q Trunking? I Would like to be able to TAG PC-Traffic coming through the Data Port of the 3Com-3101 VoIP Phone and assign to a Data VLAN, and TAG The VoiceIP Traffic generated by the 3Com 3101 Phoneset with a different VLAN ID than the Data traffic. This way I can separate the Data Traffic and VoIP traffic for more flexible traffic management purposes.

In the NBX ( depending on what software you are running the tab is different in 5.0 or 6.0 ) there

is a setting for vlan tagging / IP vlan tagging and to set the vlan id as well . Also make sure QOS is set up in the local switch . Most newer 3Com switches , 4400 and beyond , are set up for a priority Queue . Once traffic hits a certain threshold , the priority Queue will automatically route the Voice traffic first via the mac address , ex : all 00:e0:bb: traffic . So no special programming necessary .
