ATA Conference Call

I have an single unit ATA connected to a Polycom analog conference phone. I establish the first outside call, hit the conference button and the called party gets disconnected. I can repeat this with my buttset as well using the flash key.  There are 3COM Polycoms on the system as well that have no issues creating a conference call.  Anyone have any ideas ?

Re: ATA Conference Call

Check the settings of max calls on that phone number. Otherwise analog lines default to 1 simultaneous call, which won't allow you to flash and get a 2nd dial tone.

Could also be an issue with whether you allow the flash-hook?

Re: ATA Conference Call

...if you are in a rush for a workaround, grab all the parties on a digital desk phone conf line then either call out to the conference unit, or you may be able to transfer to the conference unit.
The 3com conference units are VOIP, so will have full desk phone functionality for bridging calls.
