HP Netserver LH Pro

I had an ATA hard drive in my SCSI system. The drive went out and now it "Cannot find the Operating System". It will not alow me to push f12 to get into the setup to remove the drive 1 refference to "None or SCSI". The switches on the mother board say's I can switch #3 to off and reset the BIOS. Right I'm a little nervious to try this. Would this fix my problem? How do I bypass the startup in order to change the BIOS?

Re: HP Netserver LH Pro

The LH Pro is an EISA unit, so it will need an ECU (Eisa Configuration Utility) to access the BIOS. You can find the ECU for the LH Pro here
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=15490&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=50440&swLang=13&taskId=135&swEnvOID=54

If the ECU asks for !HWP2090.CFG, you may need to download the LM ECU from here to obtain that file: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=
en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=50440&prodNameId=15454&swEnvOID
=54&swLang=13&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ns972en

You should then be able to change the proper settings and alter the drive settings.
