LC2000 sound deadening enclosure
With a sound rating of <51 dba you would think no one would complain! But they are.
My company recently installed an LC2000 in the local port office and they are complaining about the noise.
Does anyone know of a sound deadening cabinet (HP or other) that would reduce the noise they complain about?
TIA

Re: LC2000 sound deadening enclosure
hi
Take in mind that the primary rule of a netserver is to preserve data and availability, so probably the project engineer didn't care about confort for user, but take care about the protection of hardware, so he put powerfull fans. Probably if you buy a workstation you may succesfully complain about noise and receive a solution.
bye

Re: LC2000 sound deadening enclosure
I have the same problem too. Putting a LC2k below my table make me felt so bad and worry the noise may affect others. I believe there is a tool to tune down the fan speed and reduce the noise. Anybody knows about this?
