LH3 NETRAID Firmware upgrading problem...
I have an LH3 and cannot get the integrated NETRAID controller firmware to upgrade. THe upgrade program runs smoothly until it begins erasing the current configuration. It hangs at 0% and goes no further. I am installing Windows 2000 Advanced Server which requires the most current configuration of firmware.

Re: LH3 NETRAID Firmware upgrading problem...
Kevin,
What's the current Firmware version you have on the LH3?
If the step between the old and new firmware is 'too big' you could try a firmware that's in between first.
Or you can CLear CMOS of the Netserver first (with the dipswitch on the system board) to clear any 'bad bits' in the CMOS.
Last option is to upgrade the BIOS of the server before you upgrade the Netraid.
You can imagine that the latest Netraid Firmware is not tested with a very old netserver BIOS.
Hope one of these suggestions helps.
