NetRaid Assistant cannot see integrated NetRAID controller on LH3
Okay, I will try to be brief and informative as possible. I was given an old LH3 NetServer. This beast has a minor problem that I'm hoping someone out there might have an idea. I installed the HP drivers for the integrated NetRAID controller on the server. At the momment, everything is running smooth. However, when I went to use the NetRAID Assistant program, it tells me that there are no valid adapters installed.
Exact Error message:
Title: Problem with Shortcut...
"The action is only valid for products that are currently installed."
If someone could give me a pointer, that would be great. And if its the fact that I installed XPsp2 and not 2000 Adv Server, please let me know. Ive used many 2000 and NT4 programs on XP without issues.
This machine is not business critical. I just wanted to do something with it.

Ha! Why is it when someone says, "Did you reinstall the application?" you say "No, I didn't think about that!"
Problem fixed... Meh...

Are there drive attached? The BIOS does not load if there are no devices

Re: NetRaid Assistant cannot see integrated NetRAID controller on LH3
oh yes, there are 5 drives attached. the bios wasnt the issue, it was more about the NetRAID assistant loading and operating. A reinstall of the application fixed the issue.
