Unable to find RAID disk when installing Win2000/NT4 (Revised)

While installing NT4 or Win2K on the NetServer LH4 a error message displayed:

Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer.

Make sure any hard disk drives are powered on and properly connected to your computer .......

It was no problem before loading the lastest BIOS and firmware on the NetServer Navigator CD version M.02.00.

Attached is the hardware inventory report for reference.

Thanks

Did you make a driver disk to specify the driver when the setup of w2k/wnt40 starts ?
You can make the disk using the navigater cd. When the setup of windows starts you have to press F6 to specify vendor specific drivers.

Re: Unable to find RAID disk when installing Win2000/NT4 (Revised)

Thanks Dries. Drivers for the SCSI adapter and NetRAID were loaded but no help.

The RAID partition can be reconized under MS-DOS but not in NT4/W2K. I can create a 34GB FAT32 partition under DOS (Win98 boot disk).

I also tried downgrading the BIOS and Firmware of the RAID Controller but got the same problem.

NT4 does not "speak" FAT32.
W2K does.

Thanks all of you.

Finally I succussfully installed NT4 by using the auto NOS setup function in the HP navigator CD but manual setup still cannot find the RAID even loaded the drivers for RAID controller and SCSI adapter.
