I am working on a config using LPr2000 servers
and RS/12 arrays. My client is asking of posssibility of instsalling more than one HBA on the server to add throughput and resilience.
1. Is such a config supported ?
2. If so, will it be managed by the OS ? DOes
NT or W2K support automatic failover of one of the HBA's ?
Any help or suggestions will be rewarded.

Solution
Raymond,
2 FC-HBA's to a RS12FC on a standalone LP2000r is not supported.
You can use 2 FC-HBA's to connect to a VA7100 or VA7400, but not to a RS12FC.
HP-Autopath software provides loadbalancing and failover for VA7x00 and XP-storage.
It doesn't work on RS12FC arrays.
Hope this helps,
Marco.
