HELP!!!!!!!!!!! EX490 - HDD LIMITS & REPLACING MAIN DRIVE

The main reason I got this server was because it was future proof. Now I'm thinking maybe, not so.

Initally I wanted to swap out the 320GB for the 4TB (long story of why a 320GB is in there). The 320GB is drive #1 so everything is connected to it in someway. So I thought I could format in NTFS and copy all the files over.

Didn't work :smileysad:

Okay so keep the 320GB as #1 and remove another HDD. So I removed a 1TB and put in the 4TB.

Now the server only sees 2 of the 4TB. So much for unlimited storage. What is the true limit?

1) Is there anyway to have the server see all 4TB of this single drive?

2) How can I make the 4TB the #1 drive replacing the 320GB? Hopefully without having to recovery the entire thing and start over, takes FOREVER to get it into recovery mode.

You may have to partition it differently using GPT:
