J3278B reset problem
I receive a J3278B CD Server tower.
There is an administration password inside and I don't know what it is !!!
I try to perform an hard reset (pushing the reset button and starting the tower).
The manual says, the status led should blinking red and after reboot, all parameters should be resetted and user/password should be : root/pass).
My problem is, the status led blink yellow, and after reboot, any parameter change (allways the unknow password is allways inside...
Does anybody could help me ?
Perharps there is a jumper I must move...

Re: J3278B reset problem
Bonjour Zorg,
Unfortunatly the manual is incorrect. The procedure is as follows:
* Turn off the CD Server..
* Press and hold the Reset button while you switch on the CD Server. Keep the Reset button pressed until the Status indicator flashes at regular two second intervals.
* Release the Reset button and wait at least two seconds (one flash of the Status indicator).
* Press and hold the Reset button again for at least five seconds until the Status indicator remains constantly lit (orange).
* The end result is that the Reset button is released and the Status indicator is steady orange
* Power off the CD Server ... and power on as normal
* Now all configuration (including IP address) are erased, so start with ARP-S etc...
Best Regards,
SCOOTER
