Warning: 16395: Dblhook detected a hard link for a file.
I am using HP OpenView Storage Mirroring v4.4 to replicate file sets between two servers. However, just recently I have been receiving the following Warning notifications:
Description: Dblhook detected a hard link for a file. The volume GUID and file ID are stored in the Data Window. This file will not be replicated.
Server: ServerName
Source: Dblhook
Id: 16395
Severity: Warning
Category: Double-Take
Time: 12/19/2006 01:34:07
What can I do to stop this from happening? As far as I know, nothing has changed on the system, not even the AV version.
-Jay

Re: Warning: 16395: Dblhook detected a hard link for a file.
Dblhook doesnt support replication of files that are hard-links, hence the system event warning. Its ok to ignore these errors, if you can live with the system event messages.
You can see the name of the file embedded in the system event message. Its in unicode format however.
